The excursion to the city archives of Dessau-Roßlau explores memories in Dessau of the so-called Stunde Null – the beginning of the post-war period after 7 March 1945. In the context of the Bauhaus Centenary the ruins of the Bauhaus building play an important role. A featured guest will be Karlheinz Schlesier, one of the architects who was commissioned to rebuild Dessau and was closely involved in the building’s reconstruction for the 50th anniversary of its completion in 1976.
